Which Athena Filters Should I Buy?
The Athena uses two replacement filters. Typically for customers not concerned about fluoride in their water (people who have wells) can install the Athena Basic Sediment Filter as filter #1, and the Athena Biostone or the Athena UltraWater Filter as filter #2. Alternatively if you are concerned about fluoride in your tap water, you can install the Athena UltraWater Fluoride/Arsenic Filter as filter #1, and either the Athena Biostone filter or the Athena UltraWater filter as filter #2. Water Testing kits

You can use the Chlorine Test kit to see if your filter is still removing chlorine from your water which is a real effective way to tell if your filters needs to be changed.
