Since its introduction, the Athena JS205 water ionizer gained the reputation as being the best water ionizer in its class even beating the 7 plate $4,000 Leveluk SD501 in independent lab tests. The Athena did this even though it only had 5 electrolysis plates while the SD501 has 7 plates. Most alkaline water ionizers can create low levels of H₂ but the water produced is dangerously high in pH; meaning well above 10 pH. Life Time Warranty
The warranty on AlkaViva ionizers begins on the original purchase date. The AlkaViva Lifetime warranty covers the original purchase for LIFE on all ionizer parts (not accessories). 100% of labor costs are covered in the first 5 years. After the first 5 years the purchaser is responsible for any labor costs-to a maximum of $199. AlkaViva will cover all shipping costs for 1 year, and then return shipping for up to 5 years from the original date of purchase. After that, the purchaser is responsible for all shipping costs. Items that have not been assigned an RMA number will not be accepted. This warranty only covers failures due to defects in materials and workmanship which occur during normal use..... H₂ Series Filters

The new American made AlkaViva filters are now available for the AlkaViva H₂Series water ionizers, so you will not need to have a double housing external filter housing unit. With AlkaViva, the machine is imported but the filters are made right here in the USA. What this means is that the Ultrawater level of filtration is achieved with the two internal filters, namely the pre-filter and the Ultrawater filters, and to remove the fluoride you install an external fluoride removal filter.

Another important thing to remember also is that the new AlkaViva H₂ series water ionizers are physically different from all the other AlkaViva water ionizers. This means that the filters for the first Athena JS205 water ionizer will not fit in any of the H₂ series water ionizers such as the H₂ Athena, AlkaViva H₂ Vesta or the AlkaViva Melody II.
