This week (3/18/10) I went to get my annual physical which I had not done for about ten years. My doctor had aged quiet a bit since the last time I saw him and I know that he was on cholesterol lowering medication. He asked me for my date of birth and then later in our discussion he asked me for my age. I never thought about it until later, but I am convinced that he was checking to see if I was telling him the truth on my birth date. He did not want to complimented me on how young I looked because doing so would be a defeat of his argument. In fact a Wal-Mart cashier once asked me for my drivers license before she rang me up for a bottle of wine - while my 14 year old son was standing right beside me. I had to ask my doctor what was the reading on my blood pressure. It was 113/70, and I asked him if it was great as if I didn't know and he reluctantly said that it was ideal. You see I am the kind of person a medical doctor do not want to have a discussion on health and nutrition with. He doesn't believe in taking nutritional supplements. He said that they throw your body out of balance. My friends, if nutritional supplements through your body out of balance what does pharmaceutical drugs do? I know the value of drinking alkaline water first hand and I honestly feel that the least you could do for your own body is to get yourself one of these alkaline water ionizers.
